LinkedIn is full of imposters.
Just feels super stuffy to me there.
And in order to gain traction you need to βmake a splashβ every post.
Google Ads can be managed in-house.
Iβve been doing it for 13+ years.
Do you think print media will ever make a comeback?

It's our job to take that problem and make it go away for them.
So, take time to look at situations your customers are in that your product or service fits into; that is when the marketing magic happens.
They just wanted the material GONE with little to no headaches.
See, what's so unique about the scrap industry is that scrap is typically a problem for people who need services - like us - to remove it.
This wasn't the direction we needed to head in.
We had to consider the audience's daily work and how scrap fit into it.
These potential customers didn't care about the money or the number of trips that had to be done.
Some of my teammates were stating things like:
"Well, we can tell them we paid our customer $15,000 for the scrap we picked up."
"What if we share how many dumpsters it took to take out the 5,000 lbs of steel?"
I was listening and absorbing.
So, in one of our recent team discussions, we discussed how we could start a monthly newsletter to target potential and past customers and share our recent stories of successful projects.
We need to find the right angle to approach them.
In the scrap metal industry, we are a secondary thought to most of our customers.
They don't always have scrap metal to sell - nor do they rely on it for profit.
When they need our services, it's usually a hassle for them.
