karafami is such a beautiful fandom experience. you have canon-adjacent works exploring the ambiguity and love present in kyouji and satomi's relationship. you have darker works which poke at the themes of violence lying underneath the surface. and then there's 3914 boywife party land wahoo yippee!!

Small dishes of wasabi and dipping sauce are clustered around the top and bottom edges of the panel, but the space in the middle of the table between Satomi and Kyouji is cleared away, completely empty.

Another panel from the new pages of the same chapter. It's their shared table in the family restaurant they visit after the money fiasco. Kyouji's elbow is visible resting on the edge of the table. The table is significantly narrower than the one in the high-end sushi restaurant earlier, and full of their used dessert dishes, cups, and crumpled napkins.
