I have multiple videos of ICE agents doing this to legal observers. They did it to me too.

What a person looks like is not reflective of their soul. Insulting the appearance of bad people who do bad things as an outcome or indication of their rotten hearts perpetuates the notion that conventional beauty = virtue, a myth that's led to untold human damage.

White people are not the targets of racial oppression, which is designed to actively harm people of the global majority. We do carry wounds from the role we are normalized into playing, however, and until we heal them (1/2)

The tools of racism are like dog whistles for white racial conditioning, calling us to stay quiet at the very least. We can draw on our humanity instead.
