Not great, Bob
The 2003-04 Pistons allowed fewer than 83 points in 34 games that season.
Fewer than 70 in 10 games.

That was my first question when I saw Bam’s total. How many 3s did he take compared to Kobe? 22 is ridiculous!
At least there was some damn good Photoshopping of Crosby in a Ravens uniform…
This feels like an upgrade, but is it just because Teddy Bridgewater is more of a “name” than Kyle Allen?
👀
Y’all! @bitterscriptreader.bsky.social conducted a two part interview with Dan Jurgens celebrating the 35th anniversary of Armageddon 2001. I cannot recommend it enough.

OK, I love this. ANGRY RUNS COMING
I was wrong about Kalif Raymond. Originally thought the Lions needed to do better - and they eventually did. But he was valuable as a punt returner and 3-4 receiver. Hope he does well with Bears - except against Detroit.
I already often got Liranzo and Briceño mixed up...
It's occasionally been challenging to have to explain/describe what matchups could be in the tournament
Yahoo Sports graphic showing NBA title odds, led by Oklahoma City Thunder (+145), Boston Celtics (+600) and San Antonio Spurs (+650).
Can't argue with this. Pistons have shown with this 4-game losing streak that they are not a serious championship contender.
Spurs really exposed them. Could still emerge from the East, though.
How much on hair gel for Hegsdawg?
Alex Anzalone, I will miss watching Lions games with my mother and hear her refer to you as "the guy with the long hair" or "long hair." 🙌
Started 11 games at right tackle last season. Hello, Penei Sewell at left tackle?
Fun note about new Lions C Cade Mays: He made his first 2 NFL starts as a fullback in 2022. The Panthers cut him at the end of training camp 2 years later, he spent a minute on the Giants' practice squad and returned to CAR later in the season www.freep.com/story/sports...
#Lions’ secondary is looking pretty thin, guys…
ESPN hires 6 former Washington Post sportswriters less than 2 weeks after The Athletic hired 6 others from the Post's shuttered sports department. That must have been a damn good sports page.
Good morning! #rituAAAAAAAAAL

Kick up into the cookies. That’s his move.
Glad the officials called it for the obvious foul it is.
Curious if he's on track to manage in MLB someday. For now, looks like he's Albert Pujols' right-hand man in the dugout. So if Pujols gets hired as a manager, maybe that's the first step
Former major leaguer Placido Polanco in the dugout coaching the Dominican Republic in the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
Glad to see Placido Polanco! Bench coach for the Dominican Republic in the WBC.
Stan Heath seemed like the right hire for Eastern Michigan. Disappointing that didn't work out. EMU has good facilities and resources, and is in a good recruiting market. Kind of baffling it hasn't worked out there.
Last 3 innings were definitely the best
there's so much bad in the world but there's also people who lift up and carry an elderly bat around every day so he can pretend he's flying again, and that's the part of the world I think is worth fighting for
I should've posted this an hour ago. But if you're awake early this Sunday morning after losing an hour of sleep, we're live-blogging Japan versus Australia in the World Baseball Classic.
Australia leads 1-0 in the 7th and Shohei Ohtani is 0-for-3 with a walk.
“We have to be better. We have to commit ourselves to that.”
Agreed. Pistons cannot lose that game at this point of the season
