Watched the ball drop in New York from the Central Time Zone, which was a first and also weird. My FiL turned on CNN, which is an unhinged version of Times Square NYE that I was not aware of before tonight.

Major disappointment tonight: somebody put a chocolate moose tracks lid on the carton for another (read: lesser) ice cream. For some reason it didn’t compute immediately so I took a bite and then got sad.

Started season 3 of Daredevil and got 3/4 into the first episode before I realized I didn’t have any clue as to what was happening. A quick Google search told me I had to watch The Defenders first and some sites indicated seasons of the Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist.
Season 2 of Daredevil isn’t nearly as good as the first season. The lack of a central antagonist was an issue plus too much going on with the Punisher, Elektra (not my favorite character), and everything else.
One thing I keep thinking while working my way through Daredevil: it’s a bad idea for a guy moonlighting as a vigilante to live on a top floor apartment with multiple points of entry.
