Why is it that I see people complain (validly) that the PS5 has no exclusives, but at the same time, people get mad when console games remain exclusive (timed or otherwise) to the console itself?

I'm not even criticizing it based on some notion of old lore (but there are characters in league that are no longer real) but there are so many unresolved plot points, many pacing issue, wasted scenes that have no baring on the story etc...
