However, when looking through a camera with depth-of-field, it is not as impressive. In fact when I switch back to OIDN on GPU, it is more performant and looks better.

Real-time* Cycles in the viewport with DLSS. It has a ways to go before it is truly useful but if they can fix the bug that prevents Cycles from rendering a viewport preview (playblast) this would be an amazing tool for quickly evaluating scenes.

Then make full animation renders faster please.
