2025 = MN's highest eviction filing #'s ever.
End of Jan '26, 9% below last year's trends. As of yesterday, 2.6% below.
During same period, 87% more inquiries to HOME Line for $ assistance compared to 2025.
This eclipses any moment during & post-pandemic moratorium. This is not a normal situation.
In Minneapolis alone:
Last year there were 43 evictions filed from March 1-10.
This March: 123 filings.
The Trump regime cannot explain the point of the war on Iran.
My conclusion is that they are waging a multi-billion dollar war against the Epstein Files.
Freyβs reasoning here is absurd. Why not do both? Extend the eviction timeline, *and* make sure we provide assistance. That addresses the βdebtβ concerns and ensures people remain housed while waiting on help.
This is by far the most American thing to happen. Have a TV personality without experience lead your team to the brink of humiliation because they didn't pay any attention.

Way too many Jalens in the NBA
"In every CBA negotiation, the goal of the league and teams is to divide the players. These negotiations are no different. We remain united and focused on delivering a transformational CBA for all members of this Union, and are committed to negotiating for as long as it takes. Our Union's nearly unanimous vote in December to authorize us to call a strike, if and when necessary, was not taken lightly. It was made with complete faith and trust in ourselves and our negotiating committee, led by Executive Director Terri Carmichael Jackson and President Nneka Ogwumike, to represent all players as we work to build a W that truly puts players first. Nothing has changed. That decision, and the results of our recent player survey, reaffirm that the current league proposal is not worth taking. Despite our differences and tough moments, we must make crystal clear that we are focused, we are resolute, and we are together. We want to play basketball in 2026. We want to be in front of our fans playing the game that we love. We will not stop fighting. There is no WNBA without the players."
Pay the players what you owe them, @wnba.com.
Solidarity with WNBPA players in their fight for a fair contract. Americaβs unions have your backs!
What @timmiller.bsky.social and the Bulwarkers still don't seem to get is that the vast majority of gettable voters do not give half a slivered fuck about this stuff. And for the ones that do, if Talarico drives his strong core message, it crams this stuff back into perspective.
I think folks underestimate how unpopular Kamala Harris really is with even normie Democrats. Back in 2016, when running in the primary, she was one of the first to drop out and never got above single digits just about anywhere in the polling.
Angie Craig saying that she regrets the vote that tons of Minnesotans told her not to make at the time and saying it now only after everyone has suffered for two months of a federal occupation that has killed two Minnesotans and destroyed thousands of neighbors lives. Fuck off.
They stopped having new ideas in the β70s
90% of evictions in MN are for nonpayment of rent. I did a sample a week ago and found the avg nonpayment eviction in Hennepin County would take $5,122 to stop. Studies (before the high inflation of the past few years) suggest stopping an eviction saves $6,832 in public costs. It just makes sense
My entire adult life
Since winning the FIFA Peace Prize, Trump has kidnapped the President of Venezuela, threatened war against Denmark, and launched a war against Iran.
Democrats should say that Trumpβs attacks on Iran are unconstitutional.
The American people do not want a war in Iran. The Congress did not authorize a war in Iran. It is an entirely illegitimate action that has no legal or constitutional basis. It is the act of a lawless regime.
War is bad Amy, its that simple.
Did I just wake up in 1996?
this is just who they are
they do bad things everywhere all the time because they are evil and stupid and constantly indulging their very worst impulses
