When I filled my shopping bag with way too many breads at the Japanese grocery store at Uwajimaya in Seattle, for some reason I only grabbed one melon pan. Luckily, I was able to find some I could order by mail, so now my partner can try some too!

Meimei is curled up on the couch with her tan/white underbelly showing. She is so cute

Saturday afternoon hanging out with Meimei on the couch with a pile of Megaman X comics that I'm borrowing from my bro. I'm also enjoying my cold coffee and getting over the illness I brought home from my trip to Seattle last week.

Orange juice has tons of sugar in it. A glass of OJ has the same number of sugar/carbs as a regular-sized chocolate bar.

So go for it! Orange juice has lots of vitamins that's good for immunity and overall health!

Yesterday I drove home to Boise from Seattle, so I actually lost two hours with Daylight Thing and moving one time zone to the east.

Thankfully I took today off work to recalibrate.

A photo of two tattoos I designed: Mine (left) and my brother's (right). Both are mostly around the bicep area and have circular parts from which radiate elements that go around the back of the arm. The primary colors which make up the geometric patterns are a light blue, and where panels overlap, a darker blue.

The finished design drawing for my recent tattoo. 8.5 x 14 inch paper just happened to be the perfect size for a design that went all the way around my arm and connects in back.

My new tattoo (left) made to match my brother's first tattoo (right). When this photo was taken, my brother's was 10 years old, and mine was freshly finished. As you can see, mine is smaller and a bit more simple. I designed his to incorporate his doctoral bars (in black) as well as a circle on his shoulder with Mega Man's helmet at the center (he is a lifelong Mega Man fan). I designed mine to match my brother's, but with budget and a desire to get it done in one session in mind. It ended up being only 5 hours (we scheduled 6+) and got it all done the same day!

This is my tattoo with all of the circle and band elements (light and darker blues) completed, with just the colors on Pumpy to go!

This is the original art for my tattoo. The artist placed it perfectly, and he only changed the very top band so the parts don't meet in the back, because they would have ended up in my armpit. He did an amazing job executing the shading on the pumpkin head, which I trusted him to translate into "tattoo language." I will post a couple more photos after the skin has fully healed and gotten through the "sunburn" phase.

I leveled up yesterday: Now at level 51!

I took a trip to see my brother and his family in Seattle, and to get a tattoo that matches my brother's. I designed both of our tattoos, although my bro's was done 10 years ago and incorporated his doctoral bars after he got his doctorate.
