Feel like I'm finally shaking off my winter doldrums (the new meds are helping out too I think). Should hopefully be back socializing soon :3
@wooliamram
He/Him, Bi, 32. Draw-upon Sheep looking for friends. I'm a RPer, Doodler, and Model Painter. Mostly focused on 18+ content so no minors please! Currently courting my favorite crow-dog, Sens. Feel free to say hello! I only bite a little bit ;3

LOOK AT MY COOL NEW GUY AAAAH
Gonna do so much work with this funky freak. Definitely need to pick a name out for them but the design is PEAK.
Love them Del <3
ALSO definitely check out @curiah.city if you haven't yet. They make the good stuff ๐

Been nostalgic for retro game vibes and since I can't really program them I'm drawing them out instead I guess.
Okay but what if there was a farming simulator on the Gameboy and you played as a green anole farmer guy and ants brought you little presents and stuff if you didn't step on them?
Dudes gonna need it can't even afford a watering can with a handle smh.

What a palette. Gorgeous <3
The other tip I picked up is the tighter you wind/ball/crumple the wool, the less you have to poke it to hold shape.
Oh and always stab straight in and out. Trying to curve or bend the needle can make it break.
If you try it out you'll have to let me know what tricks you find out too! :3
There's a lot of like, basic kits you can get that get you started with a project (like these guys!). You'll want to get a pad to stab into though so you don't accidentally poke your fingers. I have a chunk of foam from a friend and a fancier wool one.
Fundamental Rule of Gaming: The only hit point that matters is the last one. Dakota made it out (barely)! Huge thanks to @onamint.bsky.social for the game! Was super tight and an interesting roleplaying game. Been trying to find more short form RPGs like this and it was awesome!

Our snowstorm activity: Squaring up as the daring Survivor fresh out of a coma, Dakota Shepard, against @onamint.bsky.social 's Slasher, the freaky little dude Quinn in 1978: The Night They Came Home. Fingers crossed the cards come out my way! ;3

Not giant millipede though that dude cute <3
I've had talks with all my DnD friends before about scariest monster in the game and I don't think Giant Centipede gets nearly enough of a mention.
I'm not even normally a bug hater, but thinking about a centipede (already creepy af) and then BIGGER (OH GOD) gives me instant shivers.

I was horribly blindsided by this in college.
I budgeted out my time one day with a two hour-ish block at the end to do a classic movie watch and essay assignment.
As it turns out, Gone With the Wind flirts with a 4 hour runtime (sheer madness).
Not a good fact to stumble into at 10pm.
my clay guy stickers came in and they came out comically larger than I measured. I just think he's funny
Playing around with art stuff. Also work shopping my snarky gay arcade-rat (but he's a ferret) character, Spencer.

I'm on board! Appreciate the shout out for awareness ๐
Another note this morning: Kirby Air Riders is pretty sick and I'm so down for how they improved Top Ride into an actual mode that feels fun to play. Really want to draw my main guy Starman <3
It's a challenge! But not much to do about it but throw myself into it as hard as possible. If I hit metrics then yay no complaints, if I don't then at least there's data to suggest this might be unfeasibley high expectations
Sorry for the quiet lately. Work made changes to how my department makes bonus this year, and I've basically been in the Angry Dome for a week + because to my knowledge the new KPIs are so high no one currently hits them?
Big headbutt mood ensues.
Sorry I just had to watch! You did awesome too! Happy I didn't make you nervous either XD
The strength save to break out tends to hit the dump stat of every backliner ever too, so it's usually a more consistent control spell than wis/cha save based spells, in my opinion. ๐
Honestly Watery Sphere doesn't get enough credit. Damage is great and all, but the Sphere really does a great job of locking down casters and other assorted nasties (can't cast most spells with verbal components if you can't speak underwater!).
Yup! Though we looked a lot closer when we were younger. Still counts! :3
Gotta love the "Wow, you're open today!" attitude from customers who are justifying the business decision to stay open ๐
Hey folks, I wanted to share this piece my twin drew! We're both developing artists (though our individual artistic interests are VERY different stylistically), so if you like this sort of thing, you should give them a look sometime! They're a little new around here, so play nice! ;3
Ugh you look so COZY.
Hope you have a great holidays goaty :3
It's on Libby! Checked it out, appreciate the post!
Ooooh, I love the colors on this one! I'm tempted to get it just for the cover XD
Played with a GM smarter than me (joke). Always friendly friction trying to outsmart each other with him always being a step ahead.
The terracotta warrior golems that happen to be filled to the brim with LIQUID MERCURY that spatters everywhere when you hit them was maybe a bit much though >3>
Also like...EVERYONE hates phone bots. We've spent hours screaming "representative" to get past the dumb, inaccurate machine to an actual person. You want to encourage tech for businesses to remove EVEN MORE human interaction from processes? Cause that's where I feel like this goes.
Ick.
