What is the value of an independent games show that can't find value in games that aren't commercially successful? What is the point of an awards show that only reproduces an aggregate of every game journalist on earth's existing GOTY list? Ask yourself why you're dedicating time to this as a judge
It is a simple fact that a huge number of games come out every year doing incredible stuff and don't sell. What makes those less deserving of an award? Nothing. Frankly they're often far MORE interesting to me. If I can get a few more people to check them out with a vote. Well. That's valuable
