The Trump WH is starting to reap what it has sown in terms of screwing over counterparties:
-Iran can't trust a negotiated settlement so why reach one?
-Ds in Congress can't trust Trump to follow the law so why bargain w/him?
-Universities see past deals leading to future shakedowns so why make one?

If *I* knew that the closing of the Strait of Hormuz was a major—if not THE major—risk of going to war with Iran, then Trump’s national security team should have known.

I hope the first thing this task force does is inform Pete Hegseth about what happens in the war colleges he's never attended - or apparently, even visited - because all this stuff isn't it.
He has no idea what he's talking about here, but that's no surprise.
If I were Hegseth, I'd close every war college before they had time to add him to the curriculum.
