I understand that people on tiktok want to talk about topics without worrying about censorship. At the same time, if a platform makes you self-censor your words, then it’s most likely not a good platform imo

Poll: Confidence in the Supreme Court drops to a record low
The latest NBC News poll shows that the percentage of voters with a "great deal" or "quite a bit" of confidence in the court is at the lowest ebb since the question was first asked in 2000.
The latest poll shows that only 22% of registered voters in the US said they have a "great deal" or "quite a bit" of confidence in the high court. Another 40% said they had "some" confidence, while 38% said they had "very little" or "no" confidence.

Gotta say that this is some extremely creepy language. And the argument basically is... that if the prevent people from treating gender dysphoria (adults, in this case), that they'll just... stop having it? That's not at all how any of this works.

Dude doesn’t even know what DEI is or how to define it.
This is former DOGE staff member Justin Fox, put in charge of terminating NEH grants. I’m glad there is a lawsuit against DOGE.
This is unacceptable.

This is why even in non-written media, you see people having a difficult time perceiving subtext, context, the idea that the writer is writing for a specific audience with a specific idea in mind, etc.
Because becoming functionally literate is *how* you learn to perceive all that stuff.

Matt, I don't understand how to reconcile the thoughtful and empathetic engineering leader I knew when we worked together at Google, and you choosing to work at Palantir under the Trump administration, with Palantir assisting in carrying out some of the worst human rights abuses enacted by DHS, and openly embracing the lawless, white supremacist agenda of President Trump.
I just... can't any more.
