The Targaryens do feature in this but they're not "edgy cool" like in HOTD. Overall the show just felt far more human than HOTD or the end of GOT. Nothing over the top or ridiculous, just a very grounded story of a hedge knight. I think its worth a watch for sure (and its only 6 episodes).

Its such a small thing but I also appreciated the characters' interacting with their horses in a more realistic and appreciative way. It made the show feel more grounded while also fleshing out the characters more and adding to the story/lore in some cases.

A Knight of Seven Kingdoms was cute. I rage quit House of the Dragon in season 1 so I was extremely skeptical going into this new show but it was cute! I liked the emphasis on nature, friendships, and the lower classes instead of watching nobility doing whatever they want with zero consequences.
