MapleStory

I first joined MS back when it was in beta back in 2003(?) and got pretty far I think, level 30? This was one of my first online games to ever play, and to think it was free on top of it... The music for this game is legendary, and I met a lot of friends I still talk to today on it.

Super Mario World

And this includes the GBA port. I will go through and 100% this game any day of the week, I adore and love this game so much. If you've never played it, you really need to give it a shot.

Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow

Classics. Played these for the first time when these were the *only* Pokemon games at the time, which probably dates me. The rumors on the school playground was real, and Mew was definitely NOT under the truck. Trust me, I tried.

...But he was on Nugget Bridge, years later.

Final Fantasy X / X-2

This game is so unique compared to all the other FFs, and I *love* that it takes place in a tropical setting. Absolute masterpiece. I don't like X-2 as much, but it's still really good. I hope a X-3 comes out, I heard they already wrote the story for it!

Nier Replicant / Automata

I knew *nothing* about these games until a short few years ago when @joltink.com got me into these games! THEY ARE AMAZING!!!! I find myself constantly listening to the soundtrack, and thinking to myself I need to find time to revisit both of these games.

Paper Mario (Series)

Paper Mario 64, TTYD, and Super Paper Mario are just phenomenal, and I love all three of these games. In fact, until recently, PM64 was only N64 game I ever played, TTYD the only GC game, and SPM the only Wii game. I was more of a PlayStation gamer at this point.

Yoshi's Island

This is my second favorite game of all time. Whenever I am emulating an SNES console on some new fangled device, this is almost *always* my go-to game to test with. In addition, it's just so dang cute, the music is so good, and the game is truly just a masterpiece.

Final Fantasy VII

This includes pretty much all the spinoffs (at the very least, lore-wise), remakes, etc.. This is my #1 game of all time. I have put THOUSANDS of hours into the original, and HUNDREDS of hours into the Remake/Rebirth versions. I love this game, and its universe so so much.

Saw the whole #my9games thing trending, so figured I'd jump into this.
