It was my first thought after playing for the first time, and it stuck with me - you're right of course, but I probably won't see it any other way than a vs clone.
That's not a bad thing though, the game is amazing.
I loved RoR2 too, though, so maybe that's why.
it's a blatant clone of vampire survivors in 3D and that's all I want & need it to be. Love it.

i can't get over how amazing of a game half-life 2 is, but i'm amazed at how much of the gameplay is directed. Never realized it until i'd watched the documentary, where they reveal these little 'nudges' that make the experience that much better.
