My favourite is when someone sends this and then every few minutes someone hits “reply all” to say “please don’t reply all” or “please remove me from this email” and so your inbox fills up with dozens-hundreds of people too clueless to realize they’re the fucking problem
MASSIVE GROUP EMAIL To: Leave EMPTY Cc: Blank Bcc: USE THIS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD From: Subject: MASSIVE GROUP EMAIL
Have a company wide email you need to send?
Want to congratulate a coworker?
Let people know about free pizza in the lunch room?
I am begging you… PLEASE USE BCC.
Here’s the thing: this was *definitely* not written by Trump. Trump has shown, time and again, despite people trying to teach him otherwise, that asylum refers to mental asylums, and that asylum seekers are dangerous and deranged.
At the core: Insights without reflection have no value. That’s the whole problem. If no one reflected on the problem to provide a solution that is thoughtful and intentional, then even if what you’re given “works” it is, basically, worthless.
Greatness starts somewhere 🥹
I love how they seem *indignant* about how he got tickets for “STOP SIGNS” as if it isn’t a big deal to not stop at stop signs
Like shit man people get killed all the time because drivers don’t stop. Yes you are getting a ticket. Come on!
If the Naomi is Klein
You're doing fine
If the Naomi is Wolf
Oh brother, oof!
It’s almost like how other people celebrate their faiths is none of anyone’s business
FOWLER! WOW! UNBELIEVABLE!

This pot apparently puts me in an “actual” mood
The closest thing to an actual miracle humanity has ever actually accomplished and anti-vaxxers treat it like poison. Actually enraging.
In Canadian politics he’d have been expelled from the party by now, tbh
LOUDLY BOOING!!! BOOO!!! BAD SENATORS! 🗞️
#gohabsgo
You wouldn’t know if all you follow is his public stances on mainstream Dem positions
#GoHabsGo
I don’t understand why they haven’t expelled him from their caucus at this point. Honest question, what significant Dem position does he support?
The good news is at least a black woman wasn’t elected president
Check moi ça le beau bonhomme!
I have seen a few people online mention worries about literacy rates among Gen Z and Alpha and I’ve always dismissed them but damn

genuinely who the fuck is this for???
is the average person's reading comprehension such dogshit that they can't parse gatsby??
like prose is where the characterization lies!! otherwise you're just reading a wiki summary!!!
the donut *means* which is what the passage is trying to convey.
A simplified presentation that came closer to preserve the meaning would look more like “When I was young and vulnerable, my dad said something to me I still actively reflect on.”
I still “think about” the lemon meringue donut at Leche Desserts in Montreal. What I don’t do is engage with what…
What a terrible example.
1) Generations of teachers have taught The Great Gatsby to *children* - it is not a difficult book
2) The example passage is not difficult. It’s not even challenging. It’s florid. That’s it.
3) The “simplified version” does not actually say what the original passage does.
I don’t know what Talarico’s denomination is, but this messaging is extremely Catholic (not derogatory) - I have been an atheist a long time, but when I was growing up, this is how priests talked about Christ.
It’s easy (more easy than accurate) to dismiss academic critics of generative AI as uninformed or emotive, which is often anyway code for “moralizing.” But it’s remarkable how much gen AI boosterism requires feigning ignorance that theft and impersonation are widely seen as wrong, for good reasons.
Top Panel: Shows Gary (Jason Segel), Mary (Amy Adams), and the Muppet Walter standing together with concerned and slightly confused expressions. They are labeled "Boomers," "Gen Z," and "Gen Alpha," respectively. Bottom Panel: Shows a dramatic, low-angle shot of Kermit the Frog's silhouette as he walks forward, carrying a small bag. It is captioned: "Millennials coming to fix the computer."
Sorry but this is far too accurate
