one of my least favorite "features" of bsky is how it just. stops updating threads on your profile (or worse, hides them entirely) if they get too long. like what's the point of truncating it down to root post + 2 latest ones if it's going to do that anyway

atx psu hacked up to work as an fm towns psu, with an arduino nano handling power on/off signals. "VERY LEGIT FM TOWNS II HR20 PSU" is written on the psu
slightly more trustworthy shenanigans.
might end up switching to a dc-dc board down the line, but for the time being I'm a bit less afraid to use this

I can say I hate cozy choreslop games all I want but it has its grip on me

atx psu wires are soldered haphazardly onto headers going to fm towns' power supply connector
fm towns motherboard out of system, connected to a monitor, and powered via atx psu. the system finished power-on tests and is looking for a boot medium
so the PSU is still failing despite a recap. so I've moved onto plan B:
