A Daft Days Cardigan in progress using an oatmeal and dark brown yarn, placed on a white crocheted tablecloth, with several balls of yarn in autumnal tones nearby.
My latest WIP π§Ά
I have just cast on a Daft Days Cardigan which I will be making in all British Wool. This has been on to to knit list for ages so I am really happy to finally get it cast on.

Thank you, this is such a lovely pattern to knit π§Ά
A partially finished grey knitted cardigan with cables and textured stitch details lying on a neutral fabric surface.
Sleeve one is done - I will definitely finish my Winters Beach Cardi this week. It will be perfect for the current chilly weather π₯Ά
My next cast on will be another Andrea Mowry pattern - Pink Fizz π

A rust-coloured hand-knitted sock on a cream crocheted tablecloth, alongside a matching ball of yarn and the second sock in progress. A pastel mug featuring Winnie the Pooh and friends is close by containing tea.
Itβs the half term holiday for me and as the weather looks pretty miserable all week I will be able catch up with lots of knitting π

Thatβs beautiful π
A partially knitted grey cable cardigan, on a crocheted tablecloth, with a matching ball of yarn placed on top.
Just started the sleeves of my Winters Beach Cardi by Andrea Mowry. I may have two garment finishes in February π

Just spotted the typo error (was is) but Iβm not deleting and starting again π€£
A hand-knitted jumper in shades of grey with subtle horizontal stripes, displayed on a hanger against a wooden railing.
A pair of hand-knitted black leg warmers with a delicate eyelet pattern, placed on a white crocheted tablecloth.
I managed two finished projects over the weekend. The stripy jumper was is the Tolsta Tee, not a big fan of the yarn (too many knots and rejoins out of sequence) but itβs a nice lightweight sweater for the transition to Spring.
The leg warmers were a request from a work colleague π

Yes, hereβs a couple of pairs using Nord. They are so cosy, the heels are starting to felt a little but they have had a lot of wear π
A knitting project in progress using rust-colored yarn, with a partially completed sock on short circular needles. Two balls of Drops Nord yarn in the same shade are nearby. The items rest on a white crocheted tablecloth, with a hammered metal planter visible in the background.
Progress on my February socks, the Hibernal socks by Summer Lee. Dedicating at least 20 minutes a day to these should ensure that they are finished by the end of the month ππ§¦

A knitting scene featuring a partially knitted sweater in grey variegated yarn, still on the needles with the ball of yarn and a blue and white project bag alongside . Next to the sweater is a cup of tea in a floral mug. The items are placed on a crocheted lace tablecloth. In the background there is a hammered copper plant pot with green leaves.
My perfect relaxing day off work. A trip to the hairdressers and then time to work on my Tolsta Tee. Just half a sleeve to finish and then itβs done π

A white, fluffy project bag shaped like a sheep sits on a crocheted lace table cloth. In front of the bag, there is a ball of rust-colored yarn with a partially knitted sock attached to knitting needles. The sock features a textured pattern and is held on a stitch holder
Thank you for prompting me and apologies for not including previously, hereβs the image with the alt text added π
This year I am aiming to knit a pair of socks every months using yarn from my stash and a pattern I already have in my library. Februaryβs socks are the Hibernal socks by Summer Lee π§¦
Happy Monday π§Ά
I am close to finishing my first garment of 2025, just one sleeve to go. This is a longer sleeved version of the Tolsta Tee. I wasnβt sure I would have enough yarn for the sleeves but w have managed to stretch it to three quarter length π
Looks fabulous π I really like Isabell Kraemerβs patterns.
I thought it was time to revisit BlueSky as quite a few of my favourite yarny people are now over here.
Currently enjoying a much needed relaxing crafty weekend with some reading thrown in too β¦. just bliss. βΊοΈ
I am trying to get a couple of my WIPs finished but it may not happen this weekend.
I had to pull back the pretty colourwork mitts I was working on as they were too big and so decided to go for something quick and simple and I cast on the worldβs simplest mittens by Tin Can Knits.
They are so quick to knit, I had the first one done in an evening π

The pattern is the Scattering Petals Cowl by Dana Rae Makes. The pattern is a really easy repeated pattern. Itβs a great way to use up leftovers and minis π
Hello BlueSky
Iβm not sure if I can handle another social media platform but Iβm giving it a go π
Iβm here to mostly share my knitting and my love of all things yarny, with some glimpses of my walks and other daily life bits and bobs.
Hereβs whatβs currently on my needles π§Ά
