Does anyone mourn abandoned comics? I get that burnout is real and life gets in the away... But sometimes I find great comics that just stop and the artist disappears off of SM never to be heard of again. I hope they're well and know that I stumbled on their little comic and am thinking of them 🫡

Oh another good source the find old text/books (I use it alot of old poetry collections) is www.gutenberg.org
Oh totally, historical stuff can be difficult and nuanced. Archive.org will have alot of old text but especially for antebellum stuff you'll probably want modern text or modern interpretation to ensure you have the whole picture.
I google alot, I think searching antebellum etiquette and stuff will yield alot of results, I watched documentaries on YouTube or PBS and also used Archive.org to check out books from the specific eras!
