Maybe Badlands softened me up a bit to the idea of comedy in a Predator movie.

That said, the current Monitor speakers I use were marketed as a cheap first home theatre for hip students and trendy millennials. π€
The issue is that the rear speakers are fairly bulky and a pain to position.

Couple of pretty small Minx Min 11 speakers next to puzzle cubes for scale.
Playing around the Minx Mini speakers again.
Paired with a chunky subwoofer or two, I could legit make an argument for a 5.2.2 or 7.2 set up.
Attach them to the walls and have them beaming downward.
I dunno. As small and tidy as it might be, the βHome Theatre in a Boxβ vibe is off putting.
