My current project is a collaboration with my wife, though still in the planning stages. I have never written for a comic, but I was raised reading them and it helps that my style is heavily inspired by them.

Back to the writer's desk. I'm looking to dip my hand in a slightly different genre, it should be... Interesting.
I apologize for not using this account much, I've been suffering from writer's block
Not to spoil anything, but there's part of me that wants to hamfist an old adage into the story. It would serve little purpose aside from just "tee hee see what I did?"
I have not been very good at updates, have I?
I'm still writing parts of The Dark Prophecy, Chapter 1 is about 1/5th done, I'm aiming for 5k words. I've decided to take this little writing training more seriously, so I'm actively brainstorming instead of just letting things come. #writer
Apologies about the lack of story updates, I've been working on a couple smaller projects that I'm not ready to share. I'll be back to work tomorrow, I've got ideas for my main project!
I pay very close attention to writing theory. I'm currently reading and listening to interviews from various authors about their daily work lives. Repetition seems to be a very common trend. Wake up. Make yourself coffee, work a few hours, get up, do a few other daily tasks, rinse and repeat.
Taking a break from writing today, I wrote over 2k words yesterday on the fly, I need to actually plan things today. I haven't felt this invigorated in a while. Perhaps I've gotten over my slump?
I'm reminded of how much Stephen King writes.
Dude writes a thousand words a day. Six pages a day.
I can do that.
In short bursts, but I can imagine that gets difficult every day. Let alone for nearly 50 years

An experimental work in progress, nothing more. Probably going to update it in time

Actually doing some writing today. I'll post the Inkitt link once I've gotten the first draft of the prologue done. Just practice stuff, reworking an old idea. It's more dialogue stuff since I wanna work on that :>
Apologies I haven't been around here all that much. Work's been a pain.
Been doing some more reading to study prose and such. I've been actively brainstorming ideas as well. Perhaps I'll start putting up a short project, can anyone recommend a site for me to link to, to share my work here? #writer
Actually gonna try doing some writing practice today. It's dialogue day!
A photo of a young man with curly dark hair, dressed in a gray striped shirt, dark gray jeans, and black sneakers, standing on a red-and-black colorblock carpet in what looks like a convention center. He is labeled "Me" He is standing in front of a comically oversized, overstuffed black backpack that stands as tall as he does, with the straps over his shoulders as if he's carrying it. It is labeled "information about my OCs and made up worlds that only I know and imagine on a 24/7 loop and sometimes choose to annoy a select few friends with"
I'm looking forward to learning from other writers, finding works to read and enjoy and share. I hope to even get my works published, with time.
Hello, #Writer , #author community!
I'm currently working on my first novel when I'm not at my full time job. It follows Naleth, a traveling witch who, along with her sister and niece, try to uncover the mystery of her mother's sudden illness, as well as coping with her own trauma of losing a loved one.
Hi there! Here's my intro thread!
My name is Allie, I'm an amateur writer living in Canada. I specialize in dark fantasy, themes of mental illness and grief and my biggest inspiration is the comics and books I read as a teen, such as Fullmetal Alchemist and The Pendragon Adventures.
