I trained for this when I was a paralegal in the Army.
All the lessons learned from the War on Terror and how stupid it is to piss off the locals in any war ever. And they've just been forced by a gaggle of maniacs to forget all of those lessons.
“in short, an aspect unconsciously or by force of habit, we have come to confuse with its essential being."
— Igor Stravinsky
“If, as is nearly always the case, music appears to express something, it is only an illusion and not reality. It is simply an additional attribute which, by tacit and inveterate agreement, we have lent it, thrust upon it, and as a label of convention –

"I consider that music is, by its very nature, essentially powerless to express anything at all, whether a feeling, an attitude of mind, a psychological mood, a phenomenon of nature, etc... Expression has never been an inherent property of music. That is by no means the purpose of its existence.

Something incredibly mainstream normie for a change. What I love about this is that the RS-7000 is playing EVERYTHING here, via MIDI.

Robert Anton Wilson (RAW) discordian libertarian anarchism
“Everything I write, in one way or another, is intended to undermine the metaphysical and linguistic systems which seem to justify some Authorities in limiting the freedom of the human mind or in initiating coercion against the non-coercive.”

Album cover of the self-titled debut by Meat Puppets, 1982
The original Meat Puppets 12-inch was super important for my changing tastes in Rock. Still not anywhere close to tired of it.
What’s a movie you genuinely enjoy that’s known for being bad?
Showgirls (1995)
King Baldwin, the Leper Crusader King wearing a silver mask, portrayed by Ed Norton.
King Baldwin, the Leper Crusader King wearing a silver mask on a horse.
Had to watch Kingdom of Heaven again cuz it seems relevant. That movie could have been so much better in many ways. I would edit out a lot of the Maybelline shots of Orlando Bloom. But I am still very much in love with Ed Norton’s portrayal of King Baldwin, especially the costume designs.

My unrealistic personal fantasy is to have the vast bulk of my audience react “too scary!!” but real audiences are too mature to be shaken.
NAICT it’s not, but when police don’t ask this question it happens anyway with their participation as accessories.
Figurines of Brady Bunch and Partridge Family fighting each other
I have created a diorama of the Partridge family attacking the Brady Bunch family. My life is very boring.
“Prismatic Wall” is an excellent M:TG reference.
Happy to say my latest case design contains only modules that I already own. Since two of those modules are still unassembled kits maybe this will kick my soldering hobby into gear.
That slaps.

Silver Apples of the Moon, Morton Subotnick, 1967
This is generally considered the first electronic album released by a studio. It is highly experimental sounding, using a very early analog modular synth. The first side explores the effects the synth could make, at times souding like...
I get the impression you’re assigning culpability to that data system much like the people you’re criticizing do.
This should help with that:

I rely on ADDAC506 for most of my envelopes. It’s more mental work than I like but it packs a lot of options into a reasonable space. I probably need to pull the settings buried on the back out where I can change them without removing the module.
The function of noise artistry in Japan is easier to grasp by seeing it in context. Yoyogi Park Noise Performance by Michiru Yumesaki:

THEORY: Trump's mystery rashes are symptoms of him undergoing a very slow version of what happens to Tetsuo at the end of AKIRA. It makes a lot of sense if you think about it
Occasionally I buy a Eurorack module for sale price rather than planning. Among those, a pleasant surprise has been ADDAC206 Switching Sequencer. It turned out to be a weird little keyboard-like gadget. I enjoy performing changes on it.
K-pop in particular is beyond intense. Dystopian quantities of money squeezed through choreographic child abuse into irresistible packages for the masses. Future shock incarnate.
I think I have returned to my regularly scheduled fixations on modular synth and x-gaze, but my sidetracks into modern heavy rock and kpop definitely have left me dizzy.
Lastly is the question of how you intend to listen to it, and what signals do you plan to send in, and how. It’ll get old fast if it just sits there converting electricity into heat.
