There is a middle class, but what we learned on our (albeit very brief) trip there in 2023 is that they are struggling with many of the same issues the US middle class does.
We met young professionals who could not get a job and had zero hope of owning a home in the major cities.
Virginians have the chance to redistrict their state in favor of Democrats. A ballot measure vote is happening now. Vote YES to allow the redistricting!
I've heard that, if this measure succeeds, Virginia Dems are predicted to gain 4 U.S. House seats in the midterms.
