The MPs speaking are hitting ALL the key pro-trans talking points:

I often get these comments. TERFS tell me Im a man bc they think I'm a transwoman. I want to find it affirming in genderfuckery, but it's indicative of the rising hate transwomen face. The UK ruling has implications for ALL trans people, but the hate will be directed at transwomen esp Black & POC

Saw Flow yesterday, and it was really so beautiful. I prepped myself for it by reading spoilers because I am not good with animals in distress. But the themes of friendship, survival, grief, care and dogs just being idiots really shone through. Very Ghibli-esque. Well deserving of all the awards.

Today my 8YO started telling me excitedly about “non-berry” people. She informed me:

- it’s wrong to call them “he” or “she” because they use them/they pronouns
- They’re not boys or girls
- They have a flag and it’s gray and purple and yellow and white
- they all believe in ghosts

This elderly man showed up to support an anti-trans bill in my home state and then, because he had to wait hours to testify, he was stuck listening to queer folks rally against it

By the time it was his turn to speak, he'd changed his mind
