It's like they pick one platform to share their REAL horrible thoughts on with fellow horrible people, while having the other one be a persona (but a lie). I feel like it's common amoungst all the creative spaces atm because they can "pretend" even more and claim "escapism" or whatever excuse.

Over on tiktok everybody is like...
"WHO? WHO IS JAMAL?" 😭💀

Using AI for your art references not only gives you a skewed & inaccurate view of the world, it also puts resource providers like myself & all these awesome people out of work!

Using REAL photo references is what levels up your art AND supports the stock/resource community! ❤️💪

I'm pretty sure I can find some essays and articles if I bother to look hard, but based off the past two months these artists are coming out of their trash bags like the leftover bag juice, spilling the truth that they were always a bigot. 🗑

We can write essays on artists doing this kinda thing now and how they did it for their own benefit when they deemed that it was no longer necessary to capitalize/profit off of minorities they secretly harbored such distain for. Especially when they can run back to the bigots for shelter

I'd say they were most likely always that way to begin with but it's very telling to me still and that's why I do remain skeptical of just accepting anybody as a cool artist friend.

I need safety and care to be proven, not just via words.

It's gotta be a canon event or something that *some* yt artists are now coming out as bigoted, homophobic, and suddenly a "child of God"....
Not that I followed any of them (which there are a few too many) but I feel like the further I look back at their work there's that "I could tell" moment.

My mom wanted peppermint with peanut butter instead of the usual chocolate and she liked it actually but peppermint overpowers the peanut butter according to her. (I tasted it so I agree lol)

Yeah! I think it really just depends on what you are talking about in reference to that.

but are non-white. I feel like a lot of us don't like "BIPOC" because we all don't necessarily have the same 1 to 1 experience, and it lumps us into one group. UNLESS we really are referring to a similar experience of all of us, or an event, etc with all minority groups.

It depends on context really. If I'm referring to an experience all these groups share, I'll use BIPOC. However if I am specifically referring to the Black community, I will just do so as that experience isn't the same as others. I use POC to refer to other people of color who may/may not be Black..

Nobody in my family was really crafty, but my grandmother and aunt did sewing sometimes.🪡
They weren’t good at teaching though 😅 so I also had to learn that in college for one project…and YouTube when I need to fix something.

Grateful I took a ceramics class and did student work for the department and before college, learned to use the wheel in my high school when we also had ceramics.
Sadly, can’t do that all the time anymore.

They are both fluffy but Luna is more softer than orange Garrett, who was actually more oily, but since he started grooming himself more and learning how to be a cat, he is slowly having better fur/skin. (Plus occasional baths). 😭

Yeah...but I'm just confused as to why this is anything new because it's reallly not and I swore we already had a multitude of issues with them.
