I wish they'd quit threatening us with a good time, it makes me wistful.
the list implies there are educational centers where you won't be at moderate to high risk of exposure to the innately anti-MAGA concept of learning anything
See it was fascism because back then the people who were being dehumanized turned out to be falsely accused. People went along with it back then because, unlike now, they were susceptible to propaganda! But today the subhumans are actually horrible people, Fox and OANN said so. It's not fascism now.
Practically chased the employees into the place we boarded the cats as they opened this morning. Dark circles under our eyes after we didn't get home until 3 am really completed the WHERE ARE THE BABIES look.

I mean yeah itβs an authoritarian takeover but can we take some comfort in the fact that the people doing it are INSANELY stupid?
Wow so you're telling me that AI is much less useful to people who have to do actual work that involves critical thinking and accuracy and so on and so forth and the people higher up who are increasingly just doing busy work (if any at all) are the ones enamored with it? Wow how about that wow.
going on twitter now is like the dark world part of link to the past, where the shape of things is roughly the same only now instead of the friendly villagers there's some demihuman freak snarling at you going "welcome to the village of assholes!! we hate you!!" also the trees shoot bombs now
First day of snow this winter was almost an entire month earlier than last year's, but we were ready. We have successfully made our backyard a sanctuary for all of the neighborhood cats apparently.

"Don't Be a Sucker" (1947, reissued from 1943) is a U.S. government film warning Americans not to fall for racist or authoritarian rhetoric.
It shows how scapegoating led to fascism abroad and urges vigilance to protect democracy.
Here's one feminist life rule of mine: I never judge a man based on how he treats women when they are coddling or praising him. Look closely at how a man reacts when a woman displeases him, stands up to him, or draws a boundary with him, and you will find out who he really is. Post author Icona @Iconawrites

a dust.town version of vanth from the dreamkeepers comic
i pony'd vanth in dust.town because her character design is amazing. (it's not a 1:1 haha working within the editor's limitations.) she belongs to @dreamkeepers.bsky.social
The Diceβ’
[plays on roll20 anyway]
Kirk was murdered. She was assassinated.
what do you mean there's more to pony town than a character editor

I decided to get a laptop last year instead of fixing up my old gaming rig because portability is awesome, and yet I never take it out of the office because why would I ever willingly subject myself to having only one screen???
I'd almost be glad that so many of my fellow Americans are suddenly so impassioned about the importance of separation of church and state, but we all know what their real issue is.
This is a terrible day to have been really genuinely busy with real work
Many have no idea what socialism is, just that the propaganda channels assure them it's bad because the libs (evil, demonic) want it. The ones slightly more aware are offended at the idea of sharing social safety nets with brown people, and feel burning the country down is preferable.

First rare I ever encountered (and barely survived) in one of my earlier WoW attempts in like... 2006? So, first action as a new hunter (after sorting out heirlooms and transmog obv) was to find and tame.
Link in particular made me giddy when I read it in the chicken fat notes on your site! Also left-handed scissors mentioned. SHE KNOWS.
I like how there's a Fullmetal Alchemist reference in there--I'm assuming because Edward Elric is shown to write with his left hand. He's a rare example of forced left-handedness! (His prosthetic hand lacks the required fine motor skills.) We gladly claim him anyway.
From a conversation on Discord: nounbeast β 1:45 PM lol jesus christ this one fic literally does name what kind of phone it is: Sony Ericsson Z610i i get it, you had to crack open an ancient tome somewhere to decrypt the long lost history of 2006, we're all very impressed i think i actually had one of those, too. or a close silver cousin
when you're reading fic that was written after the remake of a 20-year-old game came out
This was the instant my mom decided he was repulsive but I somehow missed it, can't even remember how soon after that something he said pinged on my radar. I guess just him being a billionaire alone had me wary already, really. (Neither of us own swasticars tho.)
Anyway, my point is that "colleges brainwash people into lih'bruls" is moot entirely because I think it all just comes down to being around a lot of different kinds of people. Suddenly all those "others" are just like you and me. Colleges and big cities inherently provide this environment.
Early last year I moved from a very blue state to a red one, but I live near and work downtown in a big city. Zero culture shift that I noticed outside of Trump signs on some neighbors' yards (which disappeared instantly after the election). And snow.
Having never really had a full college education (beyond a semester here, a digital media certification there), I wonder if it's just the fact that I've usually lived in densely populated areas that spared me from the alt right rabbit hole.
