I know masks aren’t foolproof but they’re such an easy layer of protection. If you stopped wearing masks in public *at least* consider masking again when you travel!

My partner saw someone across aisle from us chewing their fingernails and someone else behind me kept coughing 💀 I did not touch my face or take mask off until I was safely outside the airport!!

We saw one woman on our trip leaving who was masked and happened to also be our flight, we commiserated with each other about being the only ones masked. At least some people do care. But it’s so few and it’s frustrating. Y’all enjoy your preventable illnesses on your vacations I guess!

Mask wearing at airports has been declining each of the few times I’ve flown during pandemic but we saw a total of only *four* masked people this trip in two busy airports. It was kind of shocking. I know my partner and I are always in the minority wearing masks, but there was basically nobody else.
