🚨 Nederland moet méér doen voor vrouwenrechten.

In februari verscheen het langverwachte rapport van het CEDAW Comité, die toeziet op het VN-Vrouwenverdrag. De boodschap in het rapport is duidelijk: Nederland moet meer doen om discriminatie van vrouwen aan te pakken.

Historisch moment bij de VN-Vrouwentop (#CSW70): voor het eerst in 70 jaar werd er gestemd over het slotdocument. De Agreed Conclusions werden aangenomen met ruime meerderheid:

The #CSW70 Agreed Conclusions were adopted by an overwhelming majority of Member States, with the United States as the sole opponent, despite attempts to remove references to sexual and reproductive health and rights and intersectionality.
