Every now and then I sniff around internet for any new content of my Obscure Fave TM, and it's genuinely impressive that I've never seen a single nsfw image with him.

Yeah, I can see how that may be upsetting

But also gotta remember that thing with posting just complete pieces was more effective on gallery websites like DA/FA/etc. Scrolly websites require more activity, so wips are more useful here, imo

A bit torn on this one.
On one hand, I get it that it's sad that something that took effort to make, isn't as liked as wip. But on the other hand, both wip and complete piece are done by you, you get double of appreciation for single piece... Or maybe it's just me being a jester again lmao

I don't think they actually realize that no one thinks they are cool, for having exagerrated "fear" reaction to a picture/video of a little critter. I had to actually call out aquaintances on this behavior, when I shared picture of my spider :/

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.
