“Let’s have a look to see which drivers the Fantasy GP players are backing for the win on Sunday”
Oh.
Perfectly fine with it. Makes total sense for TV coverage. And then for those who want all the data we have the Live Timing data.
Russell - Pole & Win “regulations are good”
Verstappen - Crashed in Qualy and didn’t win “regulations are awful”
Let’s just give it some time, Australia was fun. And it’s not always a fun race. Sure some overtakes *looked* easy but then DRS did the same for years and we got used to that.
Also, hear hear!
Hear hear!
It will fix/update when the points come in for China. No worries. In fact it should probably happen before then, maybe we’ll add some code.
But otherwise yes, after china you’ll show up with all your points!
The game is now OPEN for team changes and predictions for the Chinese Grand Prix weekend.
Remember, game locks on Friday, 7:30am GMT, when Sprint Qualifying begins.
Well done! It’s a big league too. I’m in P2 - never scored so well in my own game before. Usually laughably bad at the game I created. It will only go downhill from here.
You'd think that but THEY would - people notice all the points (and all our errors when submitting the results!)
It's a team effort, haha!
We've been quiet on here today - was an early start and put our focus on our own community of awesome Fantasy GP players.
In case you missed it, Fantasy GP has it's own social community and it's called 'The Paddock'
A small, friendly space with two rules:
Have fun.
Be kind.

Of course, protests are welcome, but it may be thrown out immediately... see below!
In short, 16 classified finishers is the official results from the FIA. Stroll wasn't a DNF but he also wasn't classified as finishing the race because he was SO many laps down.

Yeah. I know this.
I don’t like it though.
Well, yes but making more money over making the sport better…
I know, right.
And just think of the people new to Fantasy GP - it’s going to confuse.
Also, just cannot be bothered with this sprint malarkey. Can’t see what good it does.
Just going to start sharing this now - the second race of 2026, China is a SPRINT race.
Now, given that Sprint Qualy happens on a FRIDAY, Fantasy GP will also lock on the FRIDAY.
So you'll need to be sorted with your teams and predictions before 7:30am GMT FRIDAY for the Chinese GP weekend.
No need for a podium!?
If they finish like this, there’s no need for a podium - they are the perfect height sequence.
We don't know the status of Antonelli's car yet.
We do know how fast the Mercedes can be.
Might still be worth having both drivers - the car looks quick enough to lap the field... maybe.
Could be some massive bonus points if he does start lower down and comes through the field.
Further to this, watching F1TV today, and on the results for practice, the drivers are listed with their 'team' and Red Bull is listed as Red Bull Racing Red Bull Ford, but Alpine is listed as Alpine Mercedes - massively inconsistent after seeing you pointing out that the 'team' is Alpine Renault 😆
Yay! Welcome back!
*Ferrari aren't Ferrari Ferrari
Oooh, nearly forgot to share this - there's a league for BlueSky folks here on Fantasy GP - was quite competitive last year.
Join if you like! Code is 841311347
(Go to FantasyGP.com > Leagues and then use the code to join)
Good luck folks!!!
Yep, Red Bull pushing it - and also having their name twice is just silly, regardless of it being technically correct. Ferrari are Ferrari Ferrari.
Is the engine a Ford or a Red Bull? If it is actually a joint effort then simply "Red Bull Racing Ford" would still work.
I'd only just started Fantasy on F1 Badger and somehow you, a random person at the time were like "oh yeah, I'm playing that" :)
Looking Spiffy - gosh, hello! Been a while - saw your post reposted by Chainbear and thought I know that name!!
Must be what, 17 or 18yrs ago now - I remember bumping into you outside there long gone Ferrari store in Regent street trying to catch a glimpse of Kimi!
Seems inconsistent most are simply the constructor (Ferrari, Audi, Mercedes) since they also build their engines, then others are McLaren Mercedes or Haas Ferrari, which is fine - car + engine, but then there's Williams and Aston with Atlassian and Aramco in the names, but they are just the $$$ bit.
Aston Martin DNF at 4:05am (sorry!)
Confusing with the team name and the constructor names. Love the "Red Bull Racing Red Bull Ford" - catchy.
In case you need a reminder, here are the Aussie GP TV times, all in GMT (UK) time:
