I regularly say to myself, "I need a grown up" when thinking about everything that's going on but I fear there's not enough left.

Then I remember I'm a literal grownup and I need to show up and take care of things now.

The only thing we can do is to keep on fighting for what's right.

Keep speaking up, keep the pressure on the ones driving this dumpster fire off a cliff.

It's getting harder and harder, but we just keep on swimming.

Everything feels hopeless. It feels inevitable. It's maddening. Enraging even, because there have been giant glaring signs for a decade telling us what would happen if we didn't stop, but not enough people paid attention.

Letting a madman bomb another country (a SCHOOL!!) so he feels important is fucking insane.

Every person who enabled this farce should face trial and be judged accordingly.

It's fast spiraling out of control, and I just don't have any answers for how to stop it.

I am not equipped to intellectually talk about everything happening right now. I'm not a foreign policy expert, or a polisci major. I don't have years of experience understanding the anthropological complexities of conflict in the Middle East.

But I do know that what we're doing is wrong.

It's so bad out there. I've also been on hiring panels within the last year reviewing these applications and so many are bots or deeply unserious applications because people are just throwing things everywhere hoping SOMETHING sticks.

Honestly do the analysts ever talk to real people? Anyone who actually works for a living has know this for at least a year.

I applied to over 300 jobs last spring, all of which I was qualified for, and got 4 interviews. I'm still getting auto deny form emails a year later...
