If you thought knocking cups down was bad, try a chandelier.
I've long had an idea for a nonprofit called "Your Tax Dollars At Work" and it's only job would be to build narrative power for taxes by showing where that money goes and how it helps regular people.
We love to talk about government waste, but gov't is one of the most efficient money-users around!
A picture of badger, lying on tile, like she loved to do.
My now wife with our sweet dog Badger.
A picture of badger smiling at a park.
A 10 year old picture of Sarah, Badger, and myself just being goofy.
We'll miss ya Badge, rest easy gal!
Bar graph showing responses to question "Would you support or oppose abolishing ICE?" from The Economist/You Gov from June 2025 and late Feb-early March 2026. Total support for abolishing rose 23 points, among Dems 30 points, among independents 23 points, among Republicans 14 points.
Public opinion is not fixed.
And it's the job of a campaign to move people.
I used to think the death penalty is bad, but I've revised my opinion. It's bad when it's applied to the common people for "common" crimes because of the very real possibility of false conviction. But there's no risk of that when you are prosecuting a public official for something they did publicly.
Noem is out largely due to massive public activism, especially in MN, Democrats expressing increasing interest in impeachment and investigations, and resulting media coverage.
Keep pushing. These people are not invincible or immune from public opinion.
100 States.
100 Justices (9-15 chosen by lottery for any case).
1000 Representatives.
The three most serious problems in 🇺🇸 politics - Senate malapportionment, the Wizards in Robes, & gerrymandering - all mostly fixable w/o constitutional amendments*

If those 2 conditions aren't met, I know that my app search isn't over. It's likely just deferred for a week, but I have time right now to look for alts, so I just defer option 2 for my last evaluation among options.

I generally uninstall as soon as I see the second option if:
- starting the trial isn't optional,

Stop trying to go back and reset the clock. First of all, time machines don't exist, so you're not going back.
Second of all, even if time machines did exist, I would stop you before you ever got in that machine and touched that button. Just no.
Our best days are in front of us.
it’s important to keep caring about how things work and how they’re built
rockyou.txt has plenty if you're looking for more.
AOC’s biggest problem if she runs for president is that the white men who control our media ecosystem will not so much put a finger on the scale to stop her as an entire hand
it can be done (see: Zohran) but it’s going to be blatant and it’s going to be infuriating
I've been using plexamp recently, and its been really nice.
I'm a fan of the echo nest powered reccomendations of discover weekly on Spotify.
But you're right, having my library centered with plexamp has been great. There are neat optional Moods/Shuffling/DJs too.
@vivaldi.com is chrome without ai, try it out.
"From joining Sanders on the “Fighting Oligarchy” tour to endorsing Mamdani to her comments in Munich, Ocasio-Cortez keeps showing prescience and depth. Perhaps the right woman is staring right in front of us, and we should embrace her leadership." newrepublic.com/article/2065...
