Finished off the two Ghosts n Goblins Java phone games yesterday! Some fun art differences at various resolutions, and the 2008 "Gold" version was absurdly easy thanks to an extra hit Arthur can take.
Next up - Ghosts n Goblins Mobile with touch controls (tomorrow) 💀

After a week of attempts, I finally nailed the 2 loop 1CC of PC-88 GnG last night! Pretty faithful port in many ways but the scrolling and choppiness was real rough. And no way to gain extra lives made it pretty spicy. THIS STORY IS HAPPY END

I think I'll go back and try to beat Advanced difficulty next week, maybe even a proper speed run attempt or two, and then onto the PC-88 port.

Amstrad CPC Ghosts n Goblins is done! Only 3 levels, but the one hit deaths pushed this to the top spot for most deaths in the GnG Challenge so far.
Looking at a fanmade remake for Amstrad GX4000 next, and then it's time for DOS 💀
GnG on ZX Spectrum. It looked fun watching @bursterror.bsky.social suffer thru it. I found the spawns are consistent from a full reset, so I came up with my route and it's fairly easy to get to the Arremers. Then you just need a reasonable pattern from them. 🗡️ www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jEa...
