Tomorrow is the start of my latest lecture series for the Explore Lifelong Learning programme, hosted by the Joseph Cowen Centre in Newcastle. My lectures address questions about the development of the British empire in its early phase. Tomorrow's lecture looks at the creation of the United Kingdom.

Looking forward to my latest Explore series on Ramsay MacDonald. The Explore programme is put together by the Joseph Cowen Centre, a charity based in Newcastle. It has a wide programme and well worth joining!

Looking forward to my next lecture series for the Explore programme at the Joseph Cowen Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne on Ramsay Macdonald. I have decided to run this due to very positive feedback on my lecture series' on Baldwin and Chamberlain and this will kind of complete the set!

Looking forward to my next course for Explore Lifelong Learning in February / March. Explore is a great programme of learning for anyone interested. They have a fabulous Newcastle city centre venue and availability online as well for some of the courses, including mine.

Impact of Brexit and of leaving Erasmus+ on France-UK academic exchanges France is endeavouring, at bilateral as much as European level, to find solutions to strengthen student exchanges with the UK in a now more restricted framework.

"The number of European students enrolled at British universities in 2022/23 was 20% lower than 2021/22 – and 37% lower than 2020/21. ... Compared to 2018/19, there were 26% fewer students from France; 37% fewer from Italy; 40% fewer from Germany."
