This is good to see.
I will continue to note that:
1) The CEO says they're still using GenAI internally.
2) Many developers are continuing to use GenAI tools, but more so in a less visible way (coding assistant, UGC tools, marketing). For some developers, especially in Asia, it's more overt.

Pretty laid back birthday.
I didn't plan or prepare anything major because I'm honestly exhausted.
Maybe a chill little "official" birthday stream for Friday? I'll try to throw together some little gamerthon incentives. Anything from today will go towards the numbers for that if I do.

For the most part I try to make what other folks are doing not my business. Twitter was enabling some pretty horrifying shit for a long time, but putting a "take this child actress's dress off" button on there is a level of "what the fuck are you doing on this site" that is hard to grapple with.
I'm not much for resolutions the last couple years so instead of making promises to myself I probably won't keep I offer this:

It's so fucking grandpa coded but it's true. Tech isn't evil ontologically, but all the structures and incentives of capital that are scaffolded around it absolutely are, and it is good for the soul to build space in your life away from it
