Peyton was everything to me. He was by my side and comforted me through a difficult divorce in 2015. He was also a very important part of my creative journey...accompanying me on all of my outings with the camera. Losing him was more crushing than the end of a 24-year marriage. 😭
This platform is definitely a new and different animal. 😣 I think it will take all of us a bit of time to figure things out...but hopefully it will be worth the efforts and will make us less reliant on FB as a resource for sharing.
It's an easy 10-hour drive from me in Iowa, as well. I spent some time there after my dog...my very special boy, Peyton...transitioned out of this world, and being immersed in the Badlands was a good place to start the healing process from the loss.
