Crookes Social Club… I lived at the bottom of Mulehouse Road when doing my OT training at Sheffield Hallam and beyond. Can still hear the kids parroting 🦜 behind me on the phone ‘Mule as in donkey’ 😂 No gigs when I lived there 1997-2007 unfortunately.
Used to love to ‘clog’ in my Crocs! Not tried yet in my platform version 😂
