The Bermuda Triangle of Roaming Charges.
The Bermuda Triangle of Roaming Charges.
Good luck, Frances!
That's fine. If we had just started it when the "Fire Benning" banner flew and everyone except Aquilini knew exactly what needed to happen, it would be turning around right about now.
It's amazing people will claim "Canada and the USA have the same culture" and then on something as fundamental as "do you trust your fellow citizens to be good" we are further apart than any other two countries
This is great! Happy to know that the Canucks will emerge from this draft with a Barkov and one other somewhat useful player.
Good read, thanks!
Just went looking for you on Gander but only seeing your Bluesky profile at this point.
That tracks.
What a mess, though. It got indexed by Google and syndicated to Yahoo! Sports as well.
They would only do that if they have really good intel that it's going to happen. Too much work for a near-infinite number of possible trades.
Much longer than a decade! Take it from the former Province web desk.
I hope heβs written one for the constituents of his original video.
Some may disagree, but it's honestly hard for me to imagine anything like this in the context of a Canadian win. Seems like there's a totally different level of respect among Canadian players.
Itβs been in the countryβs DNA from the beginning, though. The political science textbooks call it βindividualismβ but itβs the same thing.
Deciding a gold medal game with 3-on-3 overtime is like breaking a bobsled tie by having everyone jump on a luge.
A lot of low-percentage shots being fired to start overtime.
Gander post that says βWinnner has to become a democracy.β
Meanwhile, over on Ganderβ¦
Whatever. That game wasnβt particularly close.
3-on-3 overtime needs to be banished forever.
I remember Letterman asking a couple from Ontario in the audience, "What do you do up there in Canada?"
"We own a Canadian Tire store."
He was so amused by that, because he interpreted it as "Canadian tire store". Like, what other kind of tire store would a Canadian couple own?
May I encourage folks to watch Get Low, in which Duvall plays a Tennessee hermit organizing his own funeral. Great little film.
I believe this and Iβm a Canucks fan.
Did you catch his misidentification of Binnington in the stands? Oof.
Great hit from Farhan here. People will say "hindsight" but bigger picture, he's absolutely right.
Tell me you donβt have the cards without telling me you donβt have the cards.
Fred Willard and Jim Piddock in Best in Show vibes.

To be fair, my local Home Depot in Richmond BC had a Harveyβs counter inside the store that served incredible chocolate shakes for years. Like, I would stop there just for the shakes. They closed during the pandemic.
City of Edmonton owns the Oilersβ arena. TIL that the Oilers get all revenues (including non-hockey events) in return for a lease payment and handling operating/maintenance expenses. Gate, merch, concession, sponsorship, parking, everything.
I care too much about Canadian sovereignty to watch the Super Bowlβlet alone attend it.
