Now we're talking!π
What a pity I teach English π
And Thomas, the morse code message was a cute touch. π
I think I'll do the read through this afternoon and evening, and then slip a few boats in my handbag in the morning before I go to work. Hmm, I wonder if I can get some of my kids to play in class. π
It's a lovely set Thomas, nice work! Mine are so drab compared to yours. Some girls envy other things, but I have layout envy. π
I've got mine, have you got yours? I've been following Thomas' journey with this rules set and the finished product is first class. Lots of cool stuff and a very snazzy layout.
I'm sitting in my office at school right now trying to figure out what office supplies can be turned into torpedo boats.π
Thanks Chris for the heads up, I didn't realize soon meant now. π
Just got mine and can't wait to dig into it! Congratulations Thomas, it's been a pleasure watching this go from project to product. β€οΈ
It's self adhesive, so I hope it will be enough. They're for sticking to the wall.
I'm half tempted to just stick them to the table directly π
My pleasure, I found it all very useful and I hope you do too, and I too am looking forward to Torpedoes and Tides. Coastal WW2 is definitely on my game list for my summer holiday (oooh, summer!!!!π).
That book looks really cool too, by the way, I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks Ed, from all the nice replies that does seem the way to go. There's an art supply shop near the school where I teach so I'll stop in there on the way home and have a look. I can also get them online.
Alas, no Hobbycrafts round these parts, but thanks for the tip anyway. β€οΈ
I guess, I've never been to one of those but from what I've heard they are similar, only without all the cool gaming stuff you can find in dollar stores. π
I think I'd like it rigid (oh goodness, that sounds so dirty!π), and in two panels that are 70cm long and 80cm wide. Or 70cmx40 and 4 panels.
OMG, I love that tank! I wish someone loved me like that. π
I'm also happy to know that I'm not the only one who knows deck tan is actually gray and we're all being gaslighted.
Pepco is a really cheap store that sells all kinds of really cheap crap, it's so much fun to visit. π
I will have to see what's available over here, but hopefully I can find some board online so I don't have to go to one of those shops where the men stand around and say stuff like "it'll cost ya".
Oooh, that's clever, I hadn't thought of that. Pepco again would be the place for that I imagine.
Mine are 26cm long and around 20cm wide. I've seen them online listed as 26x26, but my local Pepco has rectangles and not squares.
That's a very nice way of looking at it Brian, thank you. I was thinking about foam boards but I've never had any, are they sturdy enough do you think?
I'd like to have them on boards but not too big as to be a pain to store them, but big enough that I would only need two or three to cover a dining room table (yes, it's as depressing as it sounds to game on).
The back peels off and sticks to whatever. Polystyrene would be icky. I just don't know.
Hi everyone,
I picked up some of these tiles at Pepco ages ago as a cheap solution for a hex mat for some rules I don't remember in the least (not mineπ), and while they paint up okay I'm at a loss on what to stick them to. I don't want to go to scary men in DIY shops, any ideas anyone?

I've never tried it, my desert forces are just sand yellow or something like that. I have been tempted to try some pink, though I've heard it was not really pink (mine would be!), but I really liked the gray in yours, that was quite nice.
And next year your streak will be extended, I'm sure. π
Those are gorgeous! I love early cruisers (actually, the whole cruiser line to be honest, they're so sexy!) and your caunter is so lovely, great stuff. Oh, and congratulations as well. β€οΈ
I'm listening at this very moment to Sound and Vision. π₯°
Damn straight! I spent all of one weekend bashing that mofo Stallard and his like-minded cronies. And since I refuse to play Black Powder anymore, I'm working on my own set that will knock BP off the market (a girl can dream, right?). Warlord are a bunch of fuckers.
We've done a few. In our Halloween bundle we have Dupuy de Lome, Hoche (of course!) an Tonnerre. They're also available separately. I love do love that ram bow on Dupuy though!

Thank you Chris! And I'll have more out later in the month. I wanted to release twenty this weekend but I was quite busy and wasn't able to manage it.
Thank you James! β€οΈ
I suppose I should show you the last three ships. Sheesh, Patricia, wake up.
So here they are, and all of course by our wonderful designer Chris Ferree.
We've got Belliqueuse (I spelled that right without looking), Bombe, and Bouvet.
I'm hoping the new rules set will be out at the end of the month but it's a capricious wench and keeps throwing curve balls at me. I have great support though, so a girl can hope.
Thanks for looking darlings!

Next, and yes, in alphabetical order (autism, am I right?) are Almiral Charner, Almiral Duperre, Balny and Bayard.
We've also been working on something totally top double secret.
The secret thing is a new set of rules quite unlike anything we've ever done.
