Same. The only consolation is that the clients are obviously *ashamed* of using genai and honsetly, when they add "more references/vibes", that genai picture usually is miles away. Which proves my point, "this is how I picture my character" means really nothing in many cases, genai or not.
More "Rebellous" portraits, feels like hit or miss, I still can't quite get a feeling of oil brushes.
What else. Small stuff here and there, big projects still stalling. Breton from ESO, a player's character, quick commission. I forgot how to Rebelle.
Painting and drawing lately feels like going through thick wild forest. Only scratches, disappointment and no light ahead. Some weeks ago I touched GW2, having remembered I owned account I have not used for years. This time game left better impression on me and I was quite taken by #sylvari
A digitally painted portrait of a orsimer from elder scrolls online.
A rare orc commission for Elder Scrolls Online player. Been a while.
Winged people for dnd players. Commission.
Like, what I truly do not understand is *why*? Why this is needed? It started maybe as fun experiment idk, but why is this needed? Why not train AI to do something useful. That requires calculations, that is too dangerous or too boring for people to do? Like WHY music, art and videos? WHY?
Somehow I forgot to post the result.
Turning WoW stuff into.. well, less wow stuff. #commissions #illustration
Can you also please upload your skill and your brain somewhere, thank you (with deep appreciation, really)
Ah, inked commission, been a while! Have some #raen from #finalfantasy14
Very unusual commission request. Never did silhouette drawings before, but I hope it's clear what is happening on the picture :) #elderscrolls #khajiit #myart
Me too, people, me too. #henryofskalitz #kingdomecomedeliverance2
Something different for a change! A #krogan with his varren from #masseffect Now that was more fun than I expected. From sketch to finished stuff. #art
I was gifted Rebelle7 and tried some "traditional oils" there. Quite interesting, though I am still not sure how to handle all the textures. Some overlap, some don't, ugh. Here, have my #dunmer from #eso Saloren as a training dummy for this #art
Arrogant bitches has always been my favourite to draw.
Silly thing for a friend we have a roleplay arc in FF14. Their character, Nigelaux, is determined to improve his lover's diet. Mrp!
A painting of ha-ha Ishgardian character, if something is in doubt.
Interesting miqo'te commission.
Been ignoring bsky for a bit, so far feed feels weirder than on Xwitter. Anyway, some of the latest works idk.
A very quick and spontaneous thing for someone's Xmas.
I can see other ppl progress and so on, but am I good, am I bad, was I good, am I getting any better, I have no bloody idea. I *like* some of my stuff but can't for life evaluate it. Maybe we all are blind to our own works. Damn.
I hate to whine, but this is discouraging. I abandoned Twitter and out of 380 followers or so, I suppose only 2-3 see me, so it's dead horse, hoped for some fresh start here, but ah, can't figure out how it works. Indeed, I see some profiles having too few likes, and some have hundreds.
November? Let's see.. Whole two personal works and some commissions.
I gained 43 followers. And my works get 1-2 likes. Is Bsky as doomed as Twitter algorithm-wise, or do my works suck so much? Mystery.
Astonished, I went to study Astarion. It's like staring into abyss, but it stares back and actually is quite handsome.
... And this one is more accurate design-wise. Ah, choices, choices.
.. I'll be smarter. One picture for one post. So! I am back with "toned or clear?" problem and with the same answer: both. Tiefling dnd commission. This is clear one. I like it more visually.
I was sucked in by FF14 RP campaign, but I return with a bun!
