I think the issue was region size. I made the regions around the circles around 50% bigger, so it should be easier to connect them.
And I also fixed an offset bug that only occurred at the Steam Deck resolution.
These should both be live now in 1.0.3.7

You should be able to attach ropes by putting the cursor over the circular handles. Is this not working?
