A small pile of worn red bricks on the sand, next to a dry clump of grass.

I'm impressed! it looks like a building.
Sweetheart?
Stop and swatch it now?
A trail through reeds leading down to a gap between some tall trees. The reeds are tan, some trees are evergreen, some are bare, the sky is a brilliant blue. There are puddles on the trail.
The trail down to Grandview Beach. I'm going to see if I can get myself organized to go down there for sunrise sometime this week. It isn't often that you can park on the street legally in time to catch the sunrise. One of the few perks of the time change. #photography
I put my sweater aside to do a Melt the Ice hat and a yellow scarf. They left me irritated - all the 1x1 rib on the hat and bad yarn for the scarf. Don't feel like doing the sweater today, so I'm going to roll balls of yarn for an Emotional Support Chicken. Hoping to be in a better mood tomorrow.
It's beautiful, so I think it is probably the futility of things right now. Put it away and come back to it after midterms? I'm sure we'll all feel a little better then.
My sympathies.
The remains of three trees on the beach. The land has receded and left just the bases of the tree stumps, one with some of the original clay soil attached.
To me, the tree roots look like creatures emerging from the Bay. #photography #beach
Were they the same brand? Hope you have another needle to finish your project!
I use it to mean 'I agree' because there is no other option available.
Believe me, I'm scared along with you.

Thank you! It used to be an illegal dump, but the City cleaned it up and turned it into a nature preserve. It is right by the interstate, so it is weird to hear traffic whizzing past as you walk along under the trees, looking at the lake.
Looking through bare tree branches at a lake with ripples in the water. On the far bank are tall reeds and more trees.

Yarn label with a picture of a little girl wearing a graduation cap. It is white with red and black Chinese writing. There are no characters filled in in the boxes I presume are for weight, yardage, and lot number.
I don't know. It was 6 skeins for $6 on Amazon and I thought I'd take a shot at it since it was described as tightly spun. I regret the impulse.
The two of you are pure evil. Do you know how hard it is to get to sleep with those two versions of this song stuck in your head?
It's a thought, but I think I'm going to finish the scarf. I'm about half done.
I'm having the damnedest time with this scarf. The yarn is thin and springy. I have no control of it.

I think save that pattern for a classic solid yarn and find a more loosely constructed sweater for this yarn.

The other thing to look at is textured stitches, like the various slip stitch patterns. Stockinette and garter really show stitch size discrepancies. Sorry to hear about the carpal tunnel and tendonitis. Sounds painful, and I hope that's controlled.
I prefer 100% regular wool. I don't care for superwash,

#ShowMeYourKnits lace week. Knitting gives me joy because although I am slow and my tension goes wonky, I can still do it. I have essential tremor and no feeling in my hands, and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to. Lace hides the tension issues pretty well. KnitPicks Palette ๐งถ #knitsky
Then don't bother. Maybe you can get me a picture of it at Christmas time.
9 crocus emerging from the soil next to the trunk of a large sweet gum tree. There are lots of small roots exposed on the surface where the soil has washed away.
I've reached the end of my pictures, and now I'm going back to the beginning looking for pictures I passed by. These are naturalized crocus that we started in 1990 with one bulb at the base of a sapling. 2/3/2012, so they were sprouting early that year. #photography
