Mentally placing myself back in 2005, the tonal shift of this movie must have gone CRAZY after Batman & Robin in 1997. Like total night and day.

The fear of being single is why we have shows like love is blind or other reality dating content. Where women settle because they want a label (boyfriend, fiance, husband) and an event (a wedding) over holding their standards for the right one. They lower them, bc they’re told “it’s unrealistic”.
