Another Hollywood legend gone. I’m having a hard time picking a favorite Robert Redford film. He made so many damn good ones! And he left an incredible legacy in film through his work at Sundance. RIP.

Totally agreed. I saw it in its initial release because I was a big Dan Aykroyd fan and it was just the perfect gateway. I did a book report on “My Autobiography” soon after. I’ve seen it a number of times of the years and then I always manage to wind up on a Chaplin kick.
I had a very similar experience with “Chaplin”.
Luis Buñuel’s “ÉL” (a fave of @realgdt.bsky.social ) has left me stunned days later after my screening.
