Hey, having a place to check in can keep you motivated! The publisher that handles Master Blacksmith has a Monday check in spread sheet for our weekly word counts. Youβre great at keeping consistent.

This is a fun series. Fast paced, gamified smut. Feels like playing a smutty fantasy game, which 100% hits the mark on what itβs going for.
Glad I could help! Not sure if mine is the common opinion, but in a gamified story I like still having the combat. I'm also currently knee deep in the Oblivion Remaster, so I'm loving skeletons and liches lol
Thatβs awesome! Should be a fun novel.
Btw I loved what you did with the skeletons in Book 2.
My debut harem novel, "Master Blacksmith", coauthored by Jack Spry is live and available on Kindle Unlimited and as an Ebook!
Thank you to everyone who preordered the book, your support means a lot to me. I hope you enjoy it!

Iβll definitely be checking them out on my lunch break. I know the genre skews in favor of novels, but I love shorts because I can fit them into my schedule and not feel like Iβm leaving something unfinished.
I will confess that the smut matters to me, so Iβll probably be sticking with the X rated stuff lol. Enjoying Trailer Park Elves at the moment.
No problem! It was definitely a fun concept (first litTPG Iβve read, definitely want to read more), and the smut was really good.
Overwhelmed by the preorders on my debut harem novel. Thank you so much to everyone interested in reading my work.
I'm working on Book 2 of the trilogy now, and I hope you all have fun following Owen's adventure.
Looks interesting! I'm going to have to check this out today
That sounds like a good plan!
Once I finish the Master blacksmith trilogy (Books 2 and 3 need to be around 65k and 60k respectively, per publisher orders) I'm going to be writing stand alones around 50k each. I want to experiment with more wild stories, and shorter novel stand alones feel like a good way to experiment.
I get that. I have a preference for novellas, but I know the subreddit requires the book to be at least 175 pages for promo. I'd place that around 45k minimum. For reference, my book is a little over 83k and it's 352 pages.
Depends on the genre. If itβs harem, Iβd say novel is probably safer. Thereβs more places dedicated to sharing novels in the genre than shorter works. Thereβs a great community on r/HaremFantasyNovels if youβre on Reddit
Thank you! I hope you enjoy it
If Iβm feeling good or I have a deadline looming, Iβll add an extra sprint or two to my day. Can easily rack up over 7k words in a day on a good day via that method, but I donβt push myself like that every day.
If youβre not already doing it, the pomodoro method for focusing is a huge help for me. I shoot for at minimum one 2 hour sprint (I use immersive music videos to track my pomodoro method) which gets me around 2500 words/session, sometimes more.
My harem Isekai fantasy novel co-authored by Jack Spry, Master Blacksmith, is available for Pre-Order! Master Blacksmith: An Isekai Fantasy a.co/d/7jtOvHm
Novel releases on May 1st for both EBook and Kindle Unlimited #haremlit
Thank you Royal Guard Publishing!
That sounds awesome! Please let me know once youβve published that. Iβd love to read it.
Iβm curious about yours too! Vampires are awesome but I donβt see a lot of vampire stuff these days.
The temptation to at least outline it is STRONG. Itβs got overpowered demon babes and a paladin fallen from grace after betrayal. I want this book to be like a 1980s heavy metal album in book form lol
HEARTBREAKING: New Story Idea clawing to be written when I need to focus on finishing my trilogy.
Without saying your age, who was your first animated crush?

This is INCREDIBLE.
π Hell yeah!
Definitely not useless! People get hung up on having a flawless first draft.
Another good tip for having a cleaner first draft is to start with an outline. If you plot out your story beats without worrying about the frills, youβre less likely to write yourself into a corner.
Frost on my truckβs window this morning. I swear a week ago we were having over 60(f) degree days. The frost is pretty, but at what cost?
