Yes you’re right - a country’s demographics affect the population of domestic leagues. However, especially at top teams, trading players globally is common so we could expect at least 5-15% of the team populations to be black. See chart. Note: this applies to domestic leagues not a World Cup team.
Up to us as Evertonians now to rally around Dwight McNeil and make sure he feels welcome and that he still belongs. Put aside whatever our individual views are on him as a player and simply be the decent people I believe most of us are. Palace showed no class and no respect. We will.
