Ryan Theriot.
Wow it worked!
In every Republican presidency of my lifetime there's been a recession and a new war in the Middle East.
Maybe it's just a side effect of big rosters and the impact of WBC, but so far this spring, the league has attempted 454 steals over 167 matchups = 2.72 attempts per game.
Last spring, the league attempted 1057 steals throughout 2025 Cactus & Grapefruit League play over 458 matchups = 2.31 APG
Brendon Little player card 2025 vs 2026 spring. Data shows what's in the tweet.
Brendon Little really did some work this off-season. Four-seamer has much more ride, and the cutter has much more drop and cut, separating it from the four-seamer. Should help him vs righties, especially (7 BB/9 last year.)

Today at @baseballprospectus.com: Atlanta Braves Holdings, the publicly-traded company that owns the Braves, reported fourth-quarter earnings on Wednesday. Questions have arisen as to whether they make money. Here's the answer.
I'm pretty sure his ulnar collateral ligament would pulverize into a red mist. But only on the first pitch. Subsequent pitches would be freebies.

Sweeper dotted down and away. No problem of Okamoto-san. He blapped it 103 mph over the CF wall. Wow!

The middle finger thumbs down? Has science gone too far?!
Reading this storyβabout how the Pentagon has been given so much extra money it's struggling to spend it allβwhile thinking about the formerly homeless tenants I've spoken with in recent weeks whose housing vouchers are being discontinued for "lack of funds."
This aggression will not stand, man.
Man, how fun would it be to have an amazing #Orioles season for Pete Alonso? He's a fun player to watch.
I'm so delighted to be watching baseball right now. How lucky am I?!
I find it unbelievably cruel that they're making us wait ANOTHER 48 hours before we can watch meaningless baseball. What the *heck* am I supposed to do until then?!
One of my all time favorite voices in the baseball community, R.J.'s work finished what Moneyball started for me back in undergrad. If I had known then he was younger than me, I might have worked even harder! π The #Nats got a good one!
I think this is, once again, a very promising, exciting #BlueJays team.

we kicked off our 2026 Previews with last year's World Series participant Toronto Blue Jays! We're keeping the same format as last year, and @bradleywoodrum.bsky.social included some additional excellent charts that are worth checking out, too!

While Rube Foster was inducted to the Baseball Hall of Fame as an executive, he easily could have been inducted as a player and a manager as well. Foster was successful in all aspects of the game.
No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientistβbecause the person felt she did didnβt deserve the recognition.

It's very much like when your kid is too full to finish their vegetables, but insistent they've saved *juuust enough* space for dessert.
A lot of 1990s photos of Oasis look like this to me.
A very fascinating case study. And one that made me want to go read with my 5-year-old immediately!
I love Vesia so much. I had the privilege of working with and for him in the #Marlins player dev system, and he is such a thoughtful, earnest good dude.
Please do, I need them to continue to pay me to do this dumb shit
I know for a fact the #Rockies employ some really smart folks. I'm excited to see how things could change if/when they get more creative freedom.
