"Bad Dudes" meme:

The president has given all his cabinet members oversized shoes.

Are you a bad enough dude to walk around in silly oversized clown shoes?

It’s absolutely wild because his entire platform is, β€œI do whatever Trump tells me to, and I’m gonna ban sharia law!” Wildly out of touch even for an incumbent senator from Texas.

Australia's man did the flowerbeds. New Zealand had sent a chappie to labor in the gardens too. Their American accents were vaguely southern, and they tended to avoid officials from below the Mason-Dixon line.
Aussie Jack was a lady-killer, though, and was sleeping his way through every Republican wife who still had a beating heart under her twinset and pearls, and skimming quite a bit of information on the side. He called himself a
"martyr to his duty." He and New Zealand Craig were drowning their sorrows by working steadily through all of Florida's craft beers, one microbrewery at a time. Their relationship was significantly more harmonious than that of the clandestine representatives of Argentina and the Mossad, who had inadvertently dated for several weeks before mutually discovering one another's identities, and now existed (as bartender and assistant golf green superintendent respectively) in mutually icy disdain, lending further stress to cocktail hour.

I’m busy writing a novel. Since you have so much free time, why don’t you tidy up the streets? Especially since it’s your neighborhood.

I member cataloging an academic book a few years ago that just had a url in place of the entire end matter sectionβ€”notes, sources and indexβ€”and laughing when I checked it and the link was dead. Book was only 18 months old.

The GOP have trained the general public to view the rise/fall of gas prices as wholly a signifier of the President’s policies. If it drops noticeably (which it won’t) they’ll credit Trump and if it does nothing, no one will even notice.

How much would an animated series about the native vampire hunters from Sinners rock?

The last decade (at least) of technological advancement has been nihilistic tech fetishists trying to remove the human factor so that technology can advance as a pure force.

If you've seen us about but never read a story here's who we are and a bit about what goes on here and what passes for normal. All stories are free and can be read in any order but if you read a few you'll soon see links and connections.

As bad as the movie is, the book was even worse. It reads like someone strung a bunch of Wikipedia articles about 80s pop culture together into a self-insert fanfic that follows the heroes journey like scripture. Shallow doesn’t begin to describe it.

Titus Andronicus fell out of favor because prissy Victorians thought plays should be nice and uplifting, failing to realize how cathartic a gory murder spree acted out on stage can be.

The MAGA belief in free and easy trans surgeries is one of those tall tales that gets exaggerated with every retelling. Like how their opposition to late term abortion turned into β€œpost birth abortions” being a thing GOPers actually believe exist.

While researching Robin Hood and related historical figures, I found that one of the Barons who signed Magna Carta was named Robert Fitz Walter, son of Walter Fitz Robert, son of Robert Fitz Richard. The Fucking English should have been stopped in the 13th century. Lunatics, the lot of them.
