I think this is only the 3rd time they’ve ever been seen in New England waters.
As my article noted, the 1st one was spotted in Seamounts Marine National Monument, a previously protected and nearly 5,000-square mile area that tRump is opening up to commercial fishing. 😡
I know others have reported about the Blue Whale sightings here off Massachusetts, but the fact that the 2 spotted together were 15 miles south of me, blows my mind!
As a kid, I was in awe of our largest mammals.
